Huawei shares 12 reasons to buy the Huawei Watch
The Huawei Watch was announced at MWC 2015 in Barcelona, and has received high praise from the tech community. Although the manufacturer has yet to announce a specific release date or price, today Huawei posted a hype-building list of twelve reasons why you'd want to buy its first smartwatch.

As Huawei itself mentions in the blog post, the twelve facts about the Huawei Watch are inspired by the equal number of hours available on a traditional watch face.

The list puts a lot of emphasis on the design and the build quality of the Huawei Watch. Huawei kicks the list off with the classic watch form factor, and then moves on to mention that the Watch is the first smartwatch to come with a sapphire crystal display glass. Other design-related bullet points are the cold-forged stainless steel build, the three available color variants (gold, silver, and black), and the device's compatibility with standard 18mm straps. The manufacturer also mentions that the each Watch is built by hand out of more than 130 components.

Other facts included by Huawei in the list include Android Wear, and the 40 customizable watch faces that can be used in addition to all the other watch faces available in the Google Play store.

The manufacturer also mentions the 400 by 400 pixel resolution of the 1.4-inch AMOLED display, claiming that no other smartwatch can top the 286 PPI density. Huawei ends the list with the 300mAh battery, one said to last up to two days with regular use of the smartwatch. Granted its much better looking then the Apple Watch. Not to mention it even has a higher resolution display as well. It will be interesting to see how well Huawei prices this watch. For instance if Huawei puts a reasonable price on this smart watch, then it could sell well. However if Huawei prices it too high, then most likely it will not sell well. Huawei is not a company that people associate with high end products.

Better than any smartwatch I think not. I prefer the Moto 360. Apple Watch can come up just not sure with the bizarre price.

They make evrything easily with illegal chemicals, banned methods. And i dont care you believe me or not, doing biz with them is considered cutting off your balls.

It's tracking you, in the bad way. I would rather give my information to Apple or MS than Huawei

The only way no one will have access to your personal information is to be completely off the grid, no medical visits, pay only with cash, etc. All of these OS providers andAfter reading a post by dare a list in the other article (things in Android that will annoy iOS users), I'd say the user base. I thought people had gotten past feeling superior because of their choice of device. But then he says people will look down on you because you use and Android device, cell carriers, and the governemnt have access to your info. To believe otherwise is to be in denial.

Screen resolution and sapphire glass, and the neutral look - no numbers around the glass, are what appeals to me. Hand made, I guess they mean hand assembled, but why?

Is it wrong that I was paying more attention to the lady who had the Huawei tattoo instead of the watch...

The Moto 360 is still the most stylish smart watch out there in my opinion. Though the hardware and the black bar at the bottom are its greatest weakness, I'm still happy with my choice in buying the Moto 360. The smart watch industry isn't developed enough to warrant the price tag for the features, so for me, style is the most important factor when it comes to buying a smart watch.
