Huawei shares 12 reasons to buy the Huawei Watch
The Huawei Watch was announced at MWC 2015 in Barcelona, and has received high praise from the tech community. Although the manufacturer has yet to announce a specific release date or price, today Huawei posted a hype-building list of twelve reasons why you'd want to buy its first smartwatch.

As Huawei itself mentions in the blog post, the twelve facts about the Huawei Watch are inspired by the equal number of hours available on a traditional watch face.

The list puts a lot of emphasis on the design and the build quality of the Huawei Watch. Huawei kicks the list off with the classic watch form factor, and then moves on to mention that the Watch is the first smartwatch to come with a sapphire crystal display glass. Other design-related bullet points are the cold-forged stainless steel build, the three available color variants (gold, silver, and black), and the device's compatibility with standard 18mm straps. The manufacturer also mentions that the each Watch is built by hand out of more than 130 components.

Other facts included by Huawei in the list include Android Wear, and the 40 customizable watch faces that can be used in addition to all the other watch faces available in the Google Play store.

The manufacturer also mentions the 400 by 400 pixel resolution of the 1.4-inch AMOLED display, claiming that no other smartwatch can top the 286 PPI density. Huawei ends the list with the 300mAh battery, one said to last up to two days with regular use of the smartwatch.
