HTC Wildfire X partial specs leaked via Google

Rumor has it that HTC is working on four Wildfire-branded smartphones, which might be introduced by the end of the year. News about these devices emerged about two weeks ago, along with pictures and some of their specs.

The names of HTC's upcoming smartphones were also leaked earlier this month, although there's no guarantee the Taiwanese company will use these names: HTC Wildfire E, HTC Wildfire E+, HTC Wildfire E1, and HTC Wildfire.

None of these phones are high-end, so don't get your hopes too high if you need a flagship. However, each could become a solid alternative to Motorola and Nokia budget-friendly smartphones, if priced aggressively.

Well, it looks like HTC has a fifth Wildfire-branded smartphone in the pipeline, one that we didn't know about until recently. The name HTC Wildfire X was recently spotted by 91mobiles on the Google Play Console, along with some of the specs and a thumbnail of the phone.

The specs listed on Google Play Console doesn't match any of the four Wildfire-branded smartphones, which makes us believe this is an entirely different device. The phone is expected to pack a MediaTek Helio P22 processor, coupled with 4GB RAM. Also, the Wildfire X will feature an HD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio and it will run Android 9.0 Pie right out of the box.

Even though the listing only reveals a fraction of the phone's specs, it's clear that the Wildfire X will be the most powerful of the five. Unfortunately, no details about launch and price surfaced yet, but it shouldn't be too long now.
