HTC U12's design language to include a unique matte white finish variant

HTC U12's design language to include a unique matte white finish variant
HTC fans may have already had their fair share of leaks about the upcoming flagship of the Taiwanese company, but there are still many things to learn about the HTC U12.

Besides the full specs list that we reported about not long ago, there's a matter of design. Apparently, HTC U12 will retain the company's Liquid Surface design language, but with a twist.

A trusted source with knowledge about HTC's plans claims the handset maker plans to introduce a new matte white finish for the U12, which will be quite unique for a smartphone that's completely coated in glass.

Yes, the U12 will feature curved glass on the back and front, while the frames will be made of metal. Additionally, the fingerprint sensor will be positioned on the back of the phone, below the dual-camera setup.

It is yet unclear what this “matte white finish” looks like and why is it unique, but we can't wait to find out. HTC U12 is rumored to be unveiled sometime in April, and sources say the flagship will cost around $880 outright.

The current dual set up is all you are going to get, and it is quite good, so good that Apple followed and now Samsung followed suit. So yea, maybe Sony may be the last to actually have 2 dedicated front stereo speakers.

Matte white is awesome, love it on the pixel 2xl. I wish Samsung would do something similar with the next Note

Can they make a matte black model too? Or better yet, if the U12 will not support wireless charging, just make an all-metal version of the U12.
