HTC U11 Plus: all new features to expect

The sacred November date is fast approaching, and we are all awaiting with bated breath the arrival of a flagship to rule them all. No, not that date, but the date when HTC is said to unveil its own take on the "bezel-less" trend, or thereabouts, the U11 Plus. Fret not, though, it won't be that bezel-less, so you would still find the BoomSound speakers and the Edge Sense squeezability feature on the side.

Rumors are that the scheduled November 2 event is to unveil the mid-range HTC U11 Life, not the Plus, but a flagship announcement should be in the cards soon after, too, if HTC wants to make some cash out of the holiday market still.

The unveiling is not the least bit interesting since this may be the last high-end phone developed by HTC before Google acquired its Pixel-making unit with more than 2000 mobile engineers in it, so things at HTC might never be the same. So, what are the nostalgic HTC fans likely to get next week? Check out the main new features to expect from the U11 Plus above, and tell us if they make you brimming with anticipation.

I'd love the Pixel XL 2 if it looked like that. Only difference would be I would rather have two speakers on the bottom of the phone, one on each side of the charging port if they would be unable to have front facing speakers.

it's such a shame really that HTC is holding onto this beast that much longer! It would've most certainly been THE phone to buy, this holiday season! Dedicating a whole event to a midrange offering seems such a waste unless the U11 Life comes with SD660!
