HTC EVO 4G in white is now for sale through Sprint and everywhere else
Up until now, Best Buy was the place to go if you wanted to purchase an HTC EVO 4G decked out in white since they had an exclusivity to it.

However, you won't have to worry if you don't have one local to your area because the still relevant Android powered smartphone in white can be purchased just about anywhere. Sprint announced today that the white HTC EVO 4G is now available for sale online via their web site and through a host of other “national retail partners.”

There's no difference in price for this specific one, as it's set at $199.99 after a $100 mail-in-rebate with a 2-year contract, but you'll have the prestigious award of owning one of Sprint's highly prized 4G enabled smartphones.

These lazy manufactures is only making the back chassis white... the front is still black. IMO this is super ugly.

True, the Evo looks like crap in white. It would be nice if the white version was rubberized as well, but they just spray paint the back white. If you take the battery door off, you can see white paint on the red part of the Evo, which shows the manufacturer's laziness.

Well the front is all screen. Very little plastic. You can't make a screen white.

I have to disagree.. The white evo is very nice up close, the picture doesn't do it justice. And as far as the "spray paint" used, and that you can see it on the red behind the cover? Completely false.
