The summer is coming to a close and the kids, if not already starting a new school year, are preparing for it. And it isn't too late for some back-to-school sales. Google, for example, is running such a sale on a number of its devices
, starting with the Pixel 3
and Pixel 3 XL
. Google is taking $300 off the price of each phone through September 28th. That means that you can snag the unlocked Pixel 3
with 64GB of storage for $499, or the 128GB model for $599. With financing, you'll be making 24 monthly payments of $20.79 or $24.96, respectively. Color options are Just Black, Clearly White and Not Pink.
The unlocked 64 GB Pixel 3 XL
is out of stock, but the 128GB model will cost you $699 instead of the usual price of $999. That works out to 24 monthly payments of $29.12. Color options are the same as those available for the Pixel 3. And if you buy one of the Pixel 3 models, you'll get 6 months of YouTube Music Premium for free.
Save $300 on the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL during Google's Back to School sale
Speaking of the end of summer, this is the end of the Pixel 3's reign. Google has already released an official photo of the Pixel 4
and even posted a video on YouTube that confirms some new features
for the upcoming model. Using its Soli radar chip, the Pixel 4
will feature Motion
Sense; this will allow the use of hand gestures to skip songs, snooze alarms, and silence phone calls. And the phone will also come equipped with a secure facial recognition system on par with the iPhone's Face ID. We expect the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL
to be unveiled in October.
You can also save some bucks on Google's smart speakers and smart displays. The Google Home Mini is on sale for $29. That is a $20 or 41% discount off the price of the speaker. The Google Home is 30% or $30 off at $69 while the Google Home Max can be purchased for $30 off at $269. That is a 10% savings. If a smart display is more your speed, the Google Nest Hub with a 7-inch touchscreen has been cut in price by $30 or 23% to $99.
