After going through unboxing, video previews, and other leak storms of unprecedented strength, the Pixel 3 XL has finally found peace at the other end of the globe, as it just popped up again on someone's desk in Hong Kong.

We kid you not, the phone has appeared in the flesh again with all of its frontal notch glory. We hoped that the leaked chin-y, notch-y designs would be of an early version to no avail, as it's too close to the actual announcement for any changes now.

At this point, what we can reasonably expect is a two-tone coat of paint, a huge notch the could house some sort of 3D face-scanning tech, and a resolution of 1440x2960 pixels and 494ppi that our humble calculations returned to mean a giant 6.7" display.

Further down the specs list are a Snapdragon 845 chipset, 4GB RAM/64GB storage, and a 3430 mAh battery. The camera duties are taken by a 12MP sensor again, it seems, with an 8MP selfie shooter at the front.

Android Pie will be running the show, of course, but the only thing on everyone's mind by now is how will the sole camera perform against the new photography chops of the iPhone XS Max, Note 9, and eventually, the Mate 20 Pro that will be the Pixel's formidable competitors in that all-important department now.
