Google Nexus 9 (16 GB and 32 GB) available for $50 off at Amazon

Want to buy a Google Nexus 9 at $50 less than its normal price? Amazon US is the place to check out, as the retailer is offering the Nexus 9 16 GB for $349.99 (down from $399.99), and the Nexus 9 32 GB for $429.99 (down from $479.99). Both the black and white variants of the tablet can be purchased at these discounted prices. The offer is available for a limited time only, but it’s not clear exactly when it will end - so you should hurry if I you want to take advantage of it.

In case you’re wondering, the Nexus 9 LTE hasn’t been discounted. In fact, you can’t even get the LTE versions of the tablet from Amazon.

The Google Nexus 9 is, undoubtedly, one of the best sub-10-inch tablets that you can currently buy. Manufactured by HTC, the Nexus 9 is the world’s first tablet to run Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box. Its 8.9-inch display has 1536 x 2048 pixels, thus offering a 288 ppi density (which is top-notch for a tablet). The slate is powered by a dual-core 2.3 GHz Nvidia Tegra K1 processor, while also featuring an 8 MP rear camera, 2 GB of RAM, and a 6700 mAh battery with excellent endurance. You can find out much more about the Nexus 9 by reading our review of it.

Can't compare iOS to Android to Windows when it comes to specs .... 2 GBs isn't great on Androids spec hungry OS

What are you talking about? I own an iPad Mini 2 and it lags like hell when I have few apps opened. Don't be blind and tell me what platform is spec hungry or not. If Apple doesn't put latest and greatest hardware in their devices then why the hell do they charge like they are selling Gold? Wake up mate.

The Nexus 9 is a dodo tablet. Nvidia knows they screwed up with the Denver cores, so Tegra X1 doesn't have them. Real 64-bit Android devices will come with more RAM and/or won't include the "Google Tax". For example, the Nokia N1 64-bit tablet with 2GB for $250. That's about how much the Nexus 9 would cost, if it weren't for the "Google Tax".

Wake up wake up. Cannot compare intel based-tablet to Qualcomm or Nvidia one. There are so many devices with 64bit intel based devices sub $300 here.
