Google Assistant turns your Pixel into a T.V. style trivia game show

With the Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL set to be released in a couple of days, trivia buffs who have pre-ordered the phone or who plan on purchasing one, will be happy to know that they have a bonus waiting for them hidden inside the very capable Google Assistant. Called "I'm Feeling Lucky," the title channels the long time "I'm Feeling Lucky" option that Google Search users have on the desktop.

To play the game, all you need to do is say "OK Google, I'm Feeling Lucky" to Google Assistant. The new trivia game is audio only, and opens with an introduction that includes the cheering of a crowd. The game features typical game show content such as a buzzer, a (make believe) audience that reacts to your answers, and witty repartee from Google Assistant. If multiple contestants want to play, a round-robin format is used as players take turns answering questions. At the conclusion of the game, Google Assistant announces the winner.

Right now, the game is available only to those with Google Assistant, which for now is limited to those with a Google Pixel or Pixel XL. Google's new enhanced voice-activated virtual assistant is more conversational than Google Now ever was. It also is expected to feature a personality like Siri and Cortana have.
