First concrete in the wild shots of the HTC HD7 are captured in Taiwan?
Not even a day after we saw sketches believed to be the HTC HD7, we're now getting our first glimpse of the handset in question courtesy of some spy shots that came from Taiwan.

Crazy to say, but it didn't take too long before someone was able to snap up a few images – to give us all a good idea of what to expect with this Windows Phone 7 powered handset. From looking at the sketch, some thought that the faint outlines of a kickstand could be seen in its expected location, but in fact it's placed around the area of the camera – plus it looks pretty wide to provide it a solid leverage. In addition, it appears as though the handset borrows the same metallic rear cover employed on the HTC HD2.

Ultimately, this handset is starting to shape up very well and is looking pretty convincing so far – but we'll have to wait and see what the final product has to offer.

It says HD3 because the handset was created to be the HD3. HD7 came about as a tentative name because it is part of the HTC HD line and runs windows phone 7. Could be a prototype or could be that HD7 won't be the actual name.

You need to get out of your box, fanboy. Sure Windows Mobile isn't Android or IOS, but I bet you've never actually held a WINDOWS PHONE 7 let alone try it out/seen the previews on youtube. Before you start putting in your two cents and expecting people to give a crap, why don't you step over to the other side and experience something else first before you berate a new idea. JacK@ss. i think i would take windows over iOS personally.. and blackberry over windows OR iOS. kind of wish the torch was made for verizon.. or they would get something just like it.

ive seen a windomws 7 phone ptotoype and it looks good. im not sure how microsoft is going to advertise it, but it can compete with apple, android, and blackberry. we all know that thekins have to be taken out, but once it does it'll be a beast

I have owned a WinMo phone and I have also watched the review videos and the OS looks like crap. Both the menu screen and the lock screen look like ass. I have had extensive experience with nearly every OS with the exception of the old palm OS because that was in and out of play before I started looking into the phone market extensively. I owned a Blackjack and a Blackberry Curve before I got my Hero and subsequent EVO 4g. I work at Radio Shack and we have a Torch, Pre(had), and an Iphone demo unit. So as I said, I have extensive experience with nearly every OS and WinMo is by far the lamest of all of them and I just don't see the appeal of WP7 it is a bland looking OS when compared to HTC's sense on Android. Hell, I'd take the Android 1.5 version OS screens over WP7 at this point.

I saw it compared to 2 others droud and apple 4 Phone in regards to web browsers..iPhone 4/N1/win7 device.win7 got last place..I'm not really surprised being a pc techie and knowng that it probably takes 2-3x the coding ehh compared to the others

You spell and type like a 5th grader and you really should do your homework as far as coding for platforms is concerned. Windows Phone 7 runs on the XNA and Silverlight platforms (with support for Ruby mobile - IronRuby), all said and done it's a helluva lot easier to code for than both Android and IOS (PCs too). I'd hate to see anything you've contributed too, I'm sure it's a mess!

Actually, All devices loaded in about the same. NO one cares about .25 seconds in difference.

He mispelled droid and it was clearly a typo. You used the incorrect form of "to/two/too". Therefore you are now a fifth grader. Also, anyone worth his/her salt will spell out numbers rather than type the loan number; that's a sign of an inferior intellect similar to adding hand movements to whatever your saying.
