Fantastic Beasts mobile game unleashed on iOS and Android

Warner Bros. announced last month it will launch a new mobile game based on the recently released Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them film. Today, the publisher confirmed the game is available for both Android and iOS users.

Developed by Mediatonic, Fantastic Beasts: Cases from the Wizarding World is a hidden object type of game, in which players investigate weird cases as new recruits with the Ministry of Magic, Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures, Beast Division.

If you're a Harry Potter fan will surely feel at home playing the new Fantastic Beasts game. Moreover, you'll be able to recognize some iconic locations, such as Diagon Alley, the Leaky Cauldron and Hogsmeade since you'll be searching these areas for clues.

Players must follow the trail of evidence, uncover hidden objects, analyze evidence and piece together everything that they have learned in order to identify and relocate the magical creature that is the subject of the case. Also, there are spells to be cast in the game, as well as potions that you can brew.

According to Warner Bros., Fantastic Beasts players can share their wizarding experience with their friends and fellow recruits by linking their Facebook accounts to the game, if they wish so.

It's worth noting the game is compatible with devices powered by Android 4.2 or newer, while Apple fans can play Fantastic Beasts on any device running iOS 8.0 and up. Also, the game is free to play, but comes with in-app purchases, as in you must pay real life money for upgrades.
