Edit your video before uploading it with YouTube's new mobile trimmer
YouTube has added a new trimming feature which allows you to control exactly where a video you are uploading to the site will begin and end. The feature is built right into the YouTube app. Based on images showing the trimming in action, users will drag on still frames of a video using "handles" to start and end the video exactly where the user wants.

Another feature added to the YouTube app gives users the opportunity to view their handiwork with an inline preview before pressing the "upload now" button. This makes sure that the video is exactly as they want it (including the trimming) before it is too late to make any changes.

Google is said to be working on other new things for YouTube to offer budding young directors such as Instagram styled filters, and licensed music to replace their audio. But those are for future updates. Today is all about the trim.

We should point out before we go, that it isn't clear whether this feature has been added yet to the iOS version of YouTube.

How about adding a feature oft requested and very simple that you constantly neglect, like being able to thumbs up/+1 a comment in a video? You can do this in the iOS version why not the Android?

I need a feature where Youtube allows to add another video, at the end of first video though first video has already been uploaded!

How about allowing users to sort videos by relevance, upload date, view counts? I even feel better to browse YouTube on cuteTube for Symbian.

How about adding the ability to actually watch video's without it stopping with buffering and such making the video stop. Even though when the mobile page works just fine. Even tested it with running both youtube app and youtube mobile page via chrome mobile browser at the same time, the youtube app will often fail playback/buffering where mobile page will work just fine at same quality.
