So, Nokia is back! Well, the brand is... the Android-powered phones are actually designed and manufactured by HMD, who bought the Nokia brand for smartphones, but it is implied that the two companies are working closely together. Also, it's well-known that the head officials at HMD are ex- Nokia and Microsoft employees, so yeah — the old spirit carries on.
So, the very first Nokia phone for this resurrection era is finally out. It's called the
Nokia 6 and you can't buy it, unless you live in China, or go out of your way to hunt for it online, but it's still an interesting product — a midranger, with a Snapdragon 430 SoC, 4 GB of RAM, a 16 MP rear camera and an 8 MP selfie snapper. All of this for about $245 (we repeat — in China!) sounds pretty great. The phone looks quite good, too, with a beautiful glass-meets-metal design, keeping up with current trends.
So, what do you think of it? Would you buy this Nokia, provided you had the chance, do you like admiring it from afar or do you just not care about that brand — at least not before it gives us some flagships to ogle at?
