Dell Mini 5 gets its FCC approval and supports T-Mobile's AWS band
AT&T customers aren't the only ones to possibly see the Dell Mini 5 as a variant of the device received approval from the FCC with support for T-Mobile's 3G bands. With an uncertain official name tied to the handset, the FCC gave its approval to a variant of the device with a product code of M01M. Moreover, it shows support for WCDMA Band IV which has a clear indication that it'll be bound and capable of running on T-Mobile's network. Dell is clearly getting serious with Android as we're beginning to see their push into the US market with their products. Riding on the recent success of the Apple iPad, the Dell Mini 5 could prove attractive to customers who prefer carrying something a bit more compact while still offering the portability of a smartphone. With two of the four domestic major wireless carriers in tow, Dell could seemingly go all out as they attempt to penetrate the core of the mobile  market.
