Deal: Samsung Gear IconX wireless earbuds on sale for just $49.99 ($150 off)

Need a pair of decent wireless earbuds for a ridiculously low price? Samsung is now selling its Gear IconX earbuds for just $49.99, so you'll be saving no less than $150.

The deal is only available via Samsung's online store. Also, although the South Korean company offers free shipping on all orders, it will take between 7 to 10 business days to ship the earbuds.

Customers can choose between three color options: black, blue and white. However, out of the three color versions on sale at Samsung, just the black and white ones are still in stock.

Keep in mind that these are the first-generation Gear IconX wireless earbuds, which only provide up to 1.5 hours of battery life over Bluetooth. The second-generation Gear IconX 2018 earbuds last about 5 hours, much more than the previous model.

The good news is using the IconX's 4GB of local storage will allow you to listen to music for up to 3.5 hours. Samsung's Gear IconX come packed in a charging case that has enough energy to charge the earbuds twice.

So, if you think Samsung's Gear IconX is worth that much money, then you might want to hurry and order a pair online.

Well duh, if you leave them in there and not use them. All earbuds will do such because as they sit they lose their charge. LIKE ANY OTHER BATTERY IN THE WORLD

False. They last up to 4hrs. I've gotten 3 hours of usage when I use them standalone. Do you own a pair? I get 1.5 hours as stated on the box, if you stream via BT. Also, they are fitness buds. They were not design for prolong usage. They were designed for people who work out for about 2-3 hours. And were meant to be used standalone vs over BT. They have the capability to track a workout and then sync to your phone when connected. What other earbuds play music without using a phone? NONE!

These are released as workout earphones which include continuos hear rate tracking and online/offline music. So they only get about 1- 1.5 hr usage. If anyone is looking for workout earphones, give'em a shot else look for gen 2 or something else.

The dash by bragi are half off at bestbuy for $150. Seems like a better deal considering these are pure garbage by all accounts...

They're just trying get rid of their inventory before the new ones go on sale. I'd rather wait for the new ones that get more battery time, $50 is a good deal, but that battery life is killer for me.
