Daylight savings time bug in iOS causes havoc for Australian iPhone owners

Daylight savings time bug in iOS causes havoc for Australian iPhone owners
We all know the feeling when our cell phones somehow manages to bypass sounding off its alarms, which are obviously preset by owners, as we quickly leap out of bed rushing to our destinations.

That's the experience that Australian Apple iPhone owners had to endure after the smartphone failed to sound off its set alarms. It appears as though that a nasty bug is triggered in iOS by daylight savings time as 55 percent of 4,500 owners polled said that they experienced no alarms going off by their iPhones – but it seems to only affect those who have recurring alarms; not one time things.

The bug which surprised many will also be affecting other countries as well, but there appears to be a fix in place already by just setting your alarm one hour later or manually – just in case Apple doesn't get one out to owners beforehand.
