Battle Worlds: Kronos – a classic turn-based strategy, about to offer cross-platform multiplayer on iOS and Android
Battle Worlds: Kronos is a Kickstarter-backed game that got a pledge of $260,000 of a $120,000 goal back in April 2013. It's a game that aims to bring the old SSI style of turn-based strategies (remember Panzer Generals?) to modern gaming. Following the successful Kickstarter campaign, the game was released for PC, Mac, and Linux in November.

It seems the game's developer KING Art Games is not done creating treats for hardcore strategy lovers around the world, as it has now announced another string of platforms that the game is about to be released for. These are iOS, Android, and indie gaming console OUYA. To top it off, all platforms interconnect for a cross-platform gaming experience. What this means is that no platform will suffer limitations in terms of active players, as you can literally play with anyone, no matter what devices you both are on.

The graphics in the mobile versions had to be dialed down quite a bit, unfortunately. However, the core gameplay is the same. Switching from one device to another is made seamless, so you can always start a game on the tablet and at any point – just sit down and finish it up on the PC.

KING Art Games are currently calling for beta testers willing to try to bend and break their various builds, on a hunt for bugs and issues. If you are one who is interested in helping them out, you can send them an email to tester@kingart-games.com.
