Asus ZenFone V Live now available as a Verizon exclusive for only $7 a month
Asus and Verizon announced today that the new Asus ZenFone V Live is now available exclusively from Verizon. The budget priced handset features a 5-inch display made with slightly curved 2.5D glass, carrying a 720 x 1280 HD resolution. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 425 chipset, which comes with a quad-core CPU and the Adreno 308 GPU. 2GB of RAM is inside, along with 16GB of native storage.
The rear-facing 13MP camera has, according to Verizon, "class-leading low light performance." The front-facing 5MP camera handles selfies and video chats. The 3000mAh battery, combined with the energy sipping Snapdragon 425, provides 17 hours of talk time. Android Nougat is pre-installed. Among the features is ZenMotion, which allows you to turn your phone off or on with a simple tap on the screen. And you can quickly access your favorite programs by using your finger to write a letter on the screen.
Besides an entry-level phone, Verizon is now offering an affordable tablet. The 32GB Samsung Galaxy Tab E comes with an 8-inch screen with a resolution of 800 x 1280. There is 1.5GB of RAM inside along with 32GB of native storage. A 256GB microSD slot is available for those seeking additional storage. The camera combo from back to front is 5MP and 2MP respectively, and keeping the lights on is a 5000mAh battery. Android Nougat is pre-installed.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab E is priced at $249.99. Sign a two-year contract and that price drops to $149.99. Or, you can pay $10.41 in 24 monthly installments.
Both the Asus ZenFone V Live and the Samsung Galaxy Tab E are great gift ideas for those on your holiday shopping list.
