Apple working on new 4-inch iPhone, 12.9-inch iPad for 2015?

Although Apple increased the iPhone 6's screen size because that's what users wanted, it probably won't go as far as removing the 4-inch option from its lineup. Not only it seems like a natural fit for a cheaper device that doesn't have to push high-resolution content to a big screen that facilitates it, but it will also please iPhone loyalists who are accustomed to the smaller form factor to the point of rejecting bigger displays altogether. Sounds like hitting two birds with one stone!
Additionally, Arcuri suggests Apple has a 12.9-inch iPad in the works for Spring 2015. He believes a larger tablet will be a fresh new look at the product category, and estimates 15 to 20 million initial shipments of it.

Why not just keep selling 5s? It's a good looking phone with powerful specs. Or maybe they want to make another clown and buttugly c-series?

Exactly. I want to see what they are preparing, new iPhone is too big for me and 5s is perfect size. It's beautiful and has pretty much same specs as 6. If new iPhones disappoint I'll buy 5S, although battery sucks, it's perfect phone for me.

Agreed with you there. I love to see Apple add these these features on i5s is NFC for Apple pay and adjutable text size in safari, right now the fricking text is so small it kill my eyes even in landscape mode. I take a biggerbattery. ?...

"If that's the case, you might be happy to know that the iPhone 4's original, tried and true form factor might be making a comeback in 2015..." Wasn't the iPhone 4 a 3.5 inch screen?

Makes perfect sense, it comes along with 2 larger sizes. Look how well their 4. Inch phones sold, there's still a market for them. Apples the multi billion dollar company not you, they know what they're doing. They appeal to a broad spectrum of people, not one small demographic. Not everyone wants a huge phone, lineup diversity.

There 4" phones sold well because that's all they had. Sheesh really? Iphone 6 and 6+ sold more in the first weekend of sales than Apple has ever sold. If one company only makes one phone size and the company is popular of course that phone will sell well, that's prety much a no brainier.

Because : They’ve moved from the challenger brand to the “king of the castle” brand. Apple used to be the alternative, anti-corporate, artistic, “we try harder” type brand. IBM was the BMW, blue suit and polished shoes brand, while Apple was VW Bug, tee shirt and sandals brand. But as much as Apple fought off the arrogant brands like IBM, Microsoft and Sony, they’ve now become that brand. And with that shift, we now see an attitude change–we are seeing a certain Apple arrogance that almost says “come on, where else are you going to go?” That’s human nature to feel that way as most who now work at Apple are now cult members who joined Apple because they loved the brand. But that arrogance has a danger to it of thinking you can do no wrong and feel no real competition. Confidence is healthy, arrogance is not. "That's why Apple fanatic".

there's still a market for 4". apple wants to cover all of that market. 4" 4.7 and 5.5 are perfect set of handsets. but producing is a bit tricky, they should be careful to over supply, 4" is a small market now IMO but still, it is a profit.
