Apple Music soon to feature Android Auto integration

Apple Music soon to feature Android Auto integration
It appears that Apple is testing Android Auto integration for its music streaming app. If you're enrolled in the beta program of Apple Music, you can now test Android Auto integration, along with a couple of other new features that have been added in the newest update.

After installing Apple Music version 2.6.0 beta, you'll be able to use it as a source in Android Auto, as well as control playback. Besides Android Auto, the latest beta brings a handful of other improvements, which might or might not make it in the final version.

  • Search by Lyrics - Use a few of the words to find a song.
  • New Artist Pages - Start a personalized station of any Artist's music with one tap.
  • Friends Mix - Enjoy a playlist features songs your friends played that we think you'll like.
  • Performance improvements for Downloads, Library loading, and content playback.

Also, various bug fixes made it in the update too, but no additional details have been provided in the changelog. We're not sure when these features will be released in the Google Play Store, but we hope it will be sooner rather than later.

Apple at it again trying to get Android users to use their crappy Apple music app on Android. Hey Apple how about you fix the existing Apple music you already placed on Android. Because it's a piece of crap. Look at the poor rating your existing app has gotten.

As if you want to be in subscription which I don’t think a good idea that apple is giving this service to Android coz you all want free that’s why ys a crap on ur garbage products. It must be exclusive for us so apple please stop supporting this to android.

First of all, learn to write English, because it's hard to decipher your lingo. Second of all, you're so full of nonsense it is hysterical to think you are actually serious in your comments.

The poor rating is mostly anti-Apple people. So tell me, what is so crappy about the app? What doesn't work?

The app worked amazingly well for me when I used it. I have no gripes about it, but I don't really haven't really used the app as of recently since I canceled it and went to Spotify. Most of those reviews are from extreme Android fanboys as you said.

I have to agree, what's frustrating to me is the inability to use voice control on my Note 9 to control Apple music. Heck I can't even make it the default music player. Apple needs to use some of their cash to strike a deal with Google/Samsung, and make Apple Music a REAL viable choice, not the half-azzed monstrosity it currently is on the android platform.
