Angry Birds Seasons gets Year of the Dragon update, now live
Angry Birds Seasons has just gotten its latest Year of the Dragon update and it’s now live on both the App Store and the Android Market. The Chinese themed update ushers us into 15 new levels where you continue shooting birds on the background of lanterns, fireworks and Chinese knots. As a gift to users, the Mighty Eagle add-on has now turned into a Mighty Dragon and is available for free. The latest update to Angry Birds Seasons is also available on Symbian^3, and versions for the Mac and Windows-based PCs are to come soon.

If you’re still wondering why it’s named after the Dragon, the reason lies in the Chinese calendar where the year is 4709, Year of the Dragon. It is free like other Seasons updates, so it wouldn’t hurt spending some more time catapulting birds, would it? Check out the trailer below to get a sense of what the update looks like.
