Angry Birds Lite coming for lesser spec'd Android phones
Can you say fragmentation, people? Rovio is planning on distributing a lite version of its hit Angry Birds game for Android phones that is designed to work on those lesser spec'd Android phones that the original version of the game will not work on. The lite version should work on devices with a QVGA screen or those older models using a much slower processor, as long as it runs Android 1.6 or higher. The game itself will stay the same with the same number of levels that can be found on the full version of Angry Birds.

Check out the source link for a list of Android models that will not support the current version of the game, but might play the lite version when it is completed. Some of the names include the HTC DROID Eris, the HTC Dream, Motorola Cliq/Dext, Samsung Exclaim, Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mini and the T-Mobile G1 and G2 phones.
