Accessory porn - the OnePlus Two's USB Type-C cable looks smoking in red

Hey, we're not usually into publishing pictures of USB cables on PhoneArena, but we figured this one is worth the special attention! It's the first of its kind USB Type-C cable to ship bundled with a smartphone, and since it's made by OnePlus, it was also given a special design treatment. Indeed, we're entering an age where even a most utilitarian accessory like the USB cable is being made to delight! The flat design prevents the cable from tangling up, and the clasp lets one roll it up in place.

USB Type-C connectivity is reversible, boasts significantly faster data speeds, and offers much higher power output than traditional USB adapters. Supported by Google's upcoming Android M, rumor has it that the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will offer USB Type-C. But OnePlus may beat the Korean company to the draw, claiming that the OnePlus 2 "will be the first flagship to use Type C USB."

So far, we know that the OnePlus 2 will run on the Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 SoC and that it's going to carry a higher price tag than that of the original OnePlus One. The smartphone could be announced pretty soon, possibly in July or August. So if you want to learn more about it ahead of the eventual announcement, head over to our OnePlus 2 rumor round-up page, like, right this second!
