AT&T to offer Beats Music Family for $15 a month, will offer a free 90 day trial
Isn't it great when a rumor pans out? Just a few days ago, we told you about the rumor that AT&T would be offering Beats Music in a special bundle for its wireless customers. On Saturday, it was announced that AT&T will charge $14.99 a month for the streaming music service, to its customers with a multi-line account. Up to five family members across ten devices will be able to listen to their own favorite music using their own devices with Beats Music Family.

AT&T customers who agree to sign up for Beats Music using the family plan, will get the first 90 days free. Individual account holders can sign up for Beats Music Individual and receive 30 days for free before the $9.99 monthly rate kicks in. Each individual plan member can access the service over as many as three separate devices. Subscribers will have access to a 20 million + library of tunes.

Starting on January 24th, AT&T customers interested in the service can sign up at their local AT&T Store, or online at the sourcelink.

I'm pretty sure the $15 one is a great deal.....It says that up to 5 family members get to listen to whatever music they like on up to 10 devices. That is a great deal, actually, Spotify and Rdio for single accounts come in at 10, and Spotify doesn't have that family type plan last time I checked. Rdio has something similar, but it is 4.99 for each extra person or something like that. This is probably the first time I've ever said that AT&T is offering something at a reasonable price. Kind of sucks that on the individual line it limits the number of devices, I don't think Spotify does that. (You just can't listen on two devices at the same time, so no loaning your account. Though now you get free streaming of your playlists anyways)

While it does offer lots of users and devices, I still can't justify the price. Sorry Beats!

It's at a competitive price. What's there to complain about?

Perhaps this will spark more offers based on multi-user accounts. This could turn out to be a great idea !!!!
