9 best Samsung Galaxy S6 bumper cases

9 best Samsung Galaxy S6 bumper cases
There are two kinds of people – those who use protection and those who don't. Some would only use a phone that's guarded by a case and a screen protector, while others would rather enjoy the bare, beautiful look of their mobile device. However, there is also a third state of this matter. Bumper cases are designed to protect a phone against accidental drops by providing a shock-absorbing layer around its edges. At the same time, the front and back of the handset are exposed in all their beauty. That's probably the kind of case you want to use with a phone as stylish as the Samsung Galaxy S6

Yet bumper cases for the Samsung Galaxy S6 aren't exactly abundant, as it turned out. Sure, you might find a no-name, generic one at your local dollar store, but the brand-name options for a Galaxy S6 bumper case are relatively few. Still, we managed to find 9 bumpers for the Galaxy S6 that will serve you just fine. Take a look at them in the slideshow below.

As much as I like to have my phone without a case, it wouldn't survive the full two years without something like an otter box.

Moan for ages about wanting a metal frame then cover it up with plastic. ...... that makes sense

4. gaming64 unregistered

Hey, it's what Samsung wants, using a metal frame that can get insta-scratches and deformation from a single drop. BTW, it's good for case manufacturers as it's a good money-milker business

Do you understand the concept of 'OPTION' ? Those who like their phone naked, slim, shiny and with a nice feeling of metal in their hands can continue to keep showing their phone without a case while those with slippery hands and work in harsh environments, cases are available for em. You didn't had such an OPTION in the past the phone was plastic. Srsly, people will complain anything nowadays whether Samsung uses plastic or metal. It might be difficult for you to understand but hating on Samsung just because some 3rd party companies are making cases for them is painfully stupid. And why not watch drop test before making ill-informed statements such as 'insta-scratches and deformation from a single drop'. It survived a 10 foot drop so what else do you expect from a thin glass device ?! Whereas your precious iPhone didn't.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DpsyGweP5so Now lets talk about iPhone 6+'s whole bendgate issue and how Apple tried brushing everything under the carpet by claiming only 9 iPhones were affected while silently fixing the issue without letting anyone know so that those early adopters won't be pissed and they wouldn't have to do a recall .....

You need to calm down. Seriously, it's just a phone. And all metal phones do that, way before Samsung started to use metal. It looks nice, but it is slippery and easily scratched and dented. http://m.windowscentral.com/17-reasons-to-buy-case-htc-one-m8-windows-phone Look at the phone! It's so beat up! I have the same phone, but the windows version and it is in an otter box at all times (as I said above). It's just metal phones in general.

Did you even read my comment ?!

I don't hate Samsung. Not all people who own an iPhone hates Samsung but people like you obviously were victims of inception so that idea is probably bigger than the universe itself. And FYI #bendgate has been solved by Apple, only happens to dumb users, and is old news so deal with it.

LOL......Try telling 'old news' to the millions of owners who bought the defective iP6+ for over $1000 and do kindly explain how bendgate happens to 'dumb users' and S6 dropping from people's hand is Samsung's mistake. The fact that you came to troll Samsung on this article which has got nothing to do with Samsung at all is quite obvious. So do yourself a favour stop lying yourself that you aren't trolling.

I came here to post my opinion, not to troll because I don't have time dealing arguments with people like you who get all defensive just because of someone opposing your view.

And also http://abcnews.go.com/Technology/apple-iphone-bendgate-company-people-complained-bent-devices/story?id=25760708 And the reason why I call them dumb is because despite the issue and the consequences, they still place their 6+ in their tight pockets and also like what you said about people dropping their phones isn't Samsung's fault, #bendgate is the consumer's fault.

LOL....I can see you are truly inspired by Steve Jobs. Your whole argument of 'they still place their 6+ in their tight pockets' sounds same as 'You're holding it wrong' argument by Steve Jobs. What you're telling is people should change the way they keep their device and stop wearing tight garments, which they have been doing all their life, just because iP6+ is $1000 flimsy and poorly designed device. That's some serious hypocrisy, sir! Guess who's defensive now.... Over and out. Have a nice day ! PS. In response to your link. Watch this video and tell me if there were only 9 devices being affected.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QwACxFrl5-E A video evidence is a much greater proof then what Apple claims or would admit.

" using a metal frame that can get insta-scratches and deformation from a single drop" From a single drop? i've seen countless of youtube videos where the S6 and the S6 edge were perfectly fine in the first drop, care to prove me wrong? or are you one of those Samsung hater's pretending to not sound bias towards Samsung?

Plastic scratches and dents even easier bruh. My G3 is not even a year old and the sides are flaking off. Metal wouldn't do that

Spigen is fantastic. They make super slim cases that provide serious protection. Saved my nexus dozens of times. Highly recommend them.

The build of Nexus devices are diff. from Samsung phone builds. Even impact energy generated from the drop differs between each phone. BTW, I love Spigen.

All these years I can't believe I talked about people covering up their beautiful Apple product with cases mocking them. Now I finally understand, after ages of an empty void.
