5 things we are excited about in 2018


Alright, alright, 2018 is well on its way and, after a rather uneventful CES as far as mobile tech is involved, we have our sights set to the upcoming Mobile World Congress superevent. And we are quite curious to see if this year's models will be as strong as last — 2017 was definitely a very exciting year in the smartphone world.

But there are a bunch of interesting things — either rumored or confirmed — coming up this year that have us all giddy on the inside. Without further ado, here are 5 things we can't wait to see in 2018:

Is there any specific reason why foldable smartphone become a thing to be excited about? Just curious...

Fold the phone and thickness goes 2x. It will be thick like a wallet

Still don't get why you get excited about iPhone 9 if it will be exactly like iPhone X. I mean...why?

I can see a lot of thought went into compilation of this list. Job well done, Mr. Kateliev! 1. Under the glass fingerprint scanner. I doubt we shall see it in The S9 and G7. iPhone 9, probably. 2. A foldable smartphone. I can't say I'm excited about this but it sure will be interesting to see it in action! 3. Galaxy S9 variable aperture. That'll bring our smartphones another step closer to a DSLR. And I didn't know about The W2018 so thanks for the heads-up, PA! I shall look into it because I'm a photography enthusiast, duh! 4. The iPhone 9. Sure. I mean, it's Apple we are talking about. Let's hope it don't come with a notch though! 5. The first chapter in Project Treble. Definitely! surely Would be nice (I'm too old to say "awesome", gents) to run a bare-bone AOSP ROM on pretty much every device! Oh well, G'Day!
