White Motorola Moto E (XT1022) mentioned in India
While Motorola didn’t provide specific details about the upcoming smartphone, everyone is expecting it to be the rumored Moto E.
It’s said that the Moto E features a 4.3-inch display with 720 x 1280 pixels, dual-core Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.2GHz, 1GB of RAM, 5MP rear camera, and a 1,900 mAh battery. Interestingly, the new Moto E is supposed to be only 6.2mm thin. If that’s the case, the 11.6mm Moto G will look quite bulky next to it.
May 13 is just a week away, so it won't be long until we find out if Motorola's new smartphone is the Moto E or not.

6500 rupees is actually REALLY low for an HD screen and a Snapdragon processor, the only other snapdragon phone is from a local manufacturer(Lava) which has a 4 inch WVGA screen and S200 processor. Motorola has a real winner in their hands

One of the 3 versions of the moto E has TV out. If the TV version costs only a little bit more, then you can use your voice to select a YouTube video, play music, movies and more. "OK Google now, play xxxx song". Or "OK, Google now, play YouTube video xxxx". Then it will play on your TV. If that version is really as cheap as they say. Then I will buy a lot of them. One for each TV.

Replace the second sim slot with a microSD slot, and this would make a perfect back-up phone, or for when I don't want to carry a huge slab in my pocket. 6.2mm is less than 1/4". That's incredible.

The moto is is suppose to have a micro SD slot as well. That's why it only has 4gb of storage.

How do you know there's no front facing camera?
Frankly, a front facing camera is way, way, way down on my list of features that I care about.

Whoah... Price vs Specs are just awesome.
I wanna know the internal memory and expandable memory option. I think it is 4GB internal and will have a expandable option as I read it somewhere I couldn't recall it right now, doubtful about FF camera, probably VGA cam should be there.

It has a 5mp rear facing camera. I don't know about the ff camera. If it has any type of ff camera at this price range. Then its a bonus. What I want is the TV out version.

If this is the price of Moto E in India with the said specs, the Moto has a real winner in its hands.
However, i really doubt the price for the given specs. It would ideally be double the price mentioned here since the specs are similar to Moto G and price of Moto G is double the price of Moto E mentioned here.
But.. Yeah.. i really wish the price to be 6k INR :)

If this hits in the U.S. (hopefully) at the $100 price point with these specs, they win.
Samsung entry levels are junk, so are pretty much every Huwei and ZTE, so those cat's need to be scared.
Now that Nokia isn't making phones anymore, I'd love to see this come to play and give the low end Lumia's some real, quality competition, since I'm not riding Microsoft's jock.
Go, Moto (Lenovo)!
