Samsung Galaxy S5 coming to major US carriers in April, contests through Sprint and T-Mobile
The Samsung Galaxy S5 has finally been announced, and there are quite a slew of new features and functions to go through, but of course the real piece of information that you probably want to know is when you'll be able to get your hands on Samsung's next flagship device. Well, you won't have to wait too long, because all major US carriers are announcing that the S5 will be available in April.

So far, we have gotten the official word from AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and MetroPCS that the Samsung Galaxy S5 will be made available in April, and we expect that we will soon get word from Verizon saying the same. None are offering information on pricing or the specific availability date, but given that Samsung specifically stated April 11th in its keynote, that's a likely date to expect the release. Each does also have extras to announce along with the S5 availability.

AT&T will not only be offering the Galaxy S5, but will also have the Gear 2, Gear Neo, and Gear Fit available for purchase in April. Sprint is running a contest to win a $100 Visa gift card just for pre-registering for more info on the S5. T-Mobile and MetroPCS are going a bit farther though by running contests to give away a Samsung Galaxy S5 and an S-View Flip Cover. So, it's really up to you which carrier to go with.

If you don't happen to live in the US, Samsung has said that it will be releasing the Galaxy S5 in over 150 countries starting April 11th.
