LeEco takes another shot at Apple in new teaser
LeEco is manufacturing some of the most highly spec'd Android models. Next week, the LeEco Le Pro 3 is expected to be unveiled (September 21st to be precise), and the premium version of the phablet
could contain 8 GB of RAM and feature the Snapdragon 821 SoC under the hood. With a 5000mAh battery powering the unit, LeEco took a shot at the battery on the latest iPhone models the other day, with a teaser
depicting a falling cell squashing the Apple logo.
Today, LeEco is taking a jab at Apple's wireless AirPods. In a new teaser, the company is trying to show that the AirPods are second to its own Continual Digital Lossless Audio (CDLA). The latter is technology found on earphones and headphones used with the Type-C port, and hints that the LeEco Le Pro 3 might not ship with a 3.5mm headphone jack. The teaser also confirms the September 21st event during which the Le Pro 3 will be introduced.
The 'attack' is actually mild by LeEco standards. Last year, the company compared Apple to Hitler in a teaser attacking Apple's "walled garden."
"Introducing LeEco’s revolutionary CDLA (Continual Digital Lossless Audio) standard and the world’s first Type-C CDLA headphones. Say goodbye to the 3.5mm audio jack and the accompanying fuzz of analogue audio transmission, lacklustre stereo sound due to poor sound channel separation and compromise in sound quality by mismatch of headphone jack and socket. By replacing the 3.5 mm jack with a Type-C port, we’ve introduced a revolutionary approach to mobile audio transcoding and transmission that’s an audiophile’s delight. And that delivers genuine Continual Digital Lossless Audio from beginning to end."-LeEco
