The LG Optimus Vu is one of the gadgets that the Korean tech giant will be showing off at MWC 2012 next week. And given that it is a blend between a smartphone and a tablet, it goes without saying that the Samsung Galaxy Note will be its nemesis.
We mean, seriously, just like the Galaxy Note, the LG Optimus Vu has a gargantuan displpay – 5 inches with a resolution of 1024 by 768 pixels, to be more specific. Also, it has been made for note taking and features a fancy stylus.
Will the Optimus Vu be superior to the Galaxy Note? Only time will tell. However, if you would like to learn more about LG's blend between a smartphone and a tablet, here is a short video that shows the device in action. Furthermore, we are definitely going to take the gadget for a spin next week in Barcelona, so keep an eye on our MWC 2012 coverage.

It's too wide. I definitely would not be able to fit that in my pocket.

Maybe it was not meant to fit in your pocket, more like in your bag. Not everything is meant to fit in yo pocket. "Open Mind" is really needed sometimes

I hate to say it, but Samsung has this niche market on lockdown. This is way too wide, and life isn't good for LG, which is just behind Crapsung. Barely. That and I have to give Samsung domination in at least one category, because they obviously aren't best in show
