Joe Belfiore, Microsoft’s VP of Windows and User Experience to hold an AMA this Friday on Reddit
He has been with Microsoft for about 20 years, has been in touch with Windows Phone since the beginning, including the Zune software experience.
What if you could ask Joe anything? This Friday, May 2nd, Joe Belfiore will be holding an AMA on Reddit beginning at 9:00am Pacific time. “I've been looking forward to talking to you all about WP in more depth... and now that WP8.1 is out in the Developer Preview, it's a great time to answer your questions. Get them ready!”
Joe Belfiore is not just that guy that is always there, he has proven to be an effective evangelist for the platform. His excitement over the things to come with Windows and Windows Phone 8.1 was evident, and genuine at Build 2014 (he danced on a floor piano).
So, what will you ask Joe?

Little typo Mikey *ask
Anyway, this is great news. I have enough time to prepare for a bunch of questions, idk maybe we could beat Ron Burgundy. I hope he answers cuz I'd be pissed if he doesn't.

He's older now, dyed his hair, and changed his name. But we know it's the same old Jeff.

I'd ask him if future phones will be more carrier-agnostic and get rid of stupid exclusives. It hasn't benefitted the brand or sales, so time to do like Samsung does (ugh, that sounds odd) and release flagships on all carriers simultaneously. How many more 520/521/(522?!) models could have been sold if Verizon had a model? How many folks on T-Mobile would buy a 1020 or 1520? How much attention does at&t actually give to the flagships?

I'd ask him if WP will ever get grid view in the app drawer.

I use a Windows 8 smart phone an can see the advantage of a grid screen of apps as opposed to having to scroll up and down the screen to finds an app.
I wont give up the Modern UI tiles though because they can update the data with in the tiles that is why I like windows phone 8/ 8.1

With Joe, I wonder if he would succeed Satya Nadella? ... It's just a thought.
