Apple kicks off Black Friday sale: iPad 2 prices starting from $458

“The day you’ve waited 364 days for.” That’s Apple’s humble headline for its Black Friday one-day sales event which has just kicked off. If that’s indeed the day you’ve been waiting for, you can head to Apple’s US website and enjoy dropped prices on the iPad 2, iPod touch, iPod nano, MacBooks and the iMac.

The most tempting cut seems to be for the iPad 2. Apple has slashed prices on the iPad 2 to $458 for the basic 16 gig Wi-Fi-only model, saving you $41. You can also buy accessories for the tablet for less with the leather Smart Cover selling for a bit less at $58.

Cupertino is offering modest discounts on almost its entire lineup save for the iPhone, alas. MacBooks and the iMac get a $100 price reduction.
