Samsung SGH-J750 User Reviews

Firstly, I want to state that what the first reviewer posted is a ***, since it is THE most user friendly phone, the battery lasts 3 days+ with heavy usage and has all the basics you need in a phone plus some* more.

The camera has indeed a low resolution (1.3 M.P.) but is actually good enough for decent facebook pictures, and I have found this phone to sport amazing colors, even better than those of the SGH-G600 (5 M.P.), my brother's phone, in my opinion.

All the rest is very good, and the only 2 drawbacks are that=

(1) The phone has only 10MB of memory; which obviously lead me to buy a micro-sd card (not included), but this doesn't solve all the problems, as when you set an alarm or a caller ringtone with one of your songs, then that sound file on your memory card is copied to the phone, taking up a lot of space, disallowing you to have several different ringtones...

(2) {Not really the phone's problem} You can't download games via your PC and copy them to your memory card and then install them on your phone from there, nor can you send it to your phone via Bluetooth and expect the phone to recognise it as a game file. This is SAMSUNG's way of earning more money by letting people only install apps and games by downloading them via the phone's internet only; which I don't use or actually have access to.

Apart from that the phone is excellent and perfect for its price, and not bad looking either.
I have had no problems until now, which causes the on/off button to not work, but this will be solved in the coming month. My phone has also fallen countless times on concrete and all other kinds of things, and always kept on going for over 2 years long, and after having brought it in I will be able to enjoy that very phone for another couple of years.

Very pleased and never regretted my choice; so obviously recommended :D.

Just got this for free from OPTUS, my provider and it is really bad and I'm not happy in using this.  The battery doesn't last as specified.  It will surely be flat by 1 or 2 days on stand-by mode after charging it for 24 hrs.  It's totally a waste of time and energy of charging it.  Do not get this phone even offered as free by your network provider.  The menus are not even user-friendly and it feels like that I'm back from 20 years of mobile generation.  Not a happy user.

The Samsung J750 is a nice phone with all the daily needs of a phone which include bluetooth, 3 G, 1.3 megapixel (though not the best) and video messaging. It is let down by the ONLY 3 hours of calls and that it has quite a small screen. BUt it is worth it for around $150 (CHEAP!).
