The phone is very good. fast browsing. best battery ever. Using it from Ghana. Not 4G but this phone is better than the Samsung I used. The loud speaker is very low and no front camera but apart from that, the phone has no problem

A bad phone, only purchase if you only want to call or text

I've ad this phone for a while. It's painfully slow, it freezes up, crashes, and it takes an age to pretty much do anything. I'd avoid at all costs unless you only want a robust touch screen phone for calling and texting ONLY.

Huawei Ascend Plus H881C: Temporary Phone At Best

DeeWedell has owned it for less than year before publishing this review

I have had this phone since late February 2014. I had done a little research and thought that I was getting a decent phone. Up until two months with the phone in my possession, it was a fantastic phone. Unfortunately, the two month mark was the end of a good time. The phone began to act differently. As time went on, and two factory resets later, I still want to throw this phone against a wall (and I'm not a violent person by character). It runs extremely slow, it likes to kick me out of downloaded applications, and it doesn't like to make phone calls properly. I'm still in the process of looking for a new phone that will suit me better, but until then, I will suffer through this agony of a pathetically built phone.

Pros

  • This device does have the option to insert a mini SD card for more memory - however, this does not help with many downloaded applications, for some of the applications data will still be stored on the phone's memory.
  • It has a front facing camera.
  • The pixels on the camera are fantastic.
  • It gives the owner the option to choose which theme they would like for the buttons.
  • The alarm clock has plenty of features.

Cons

  • The device doesn't have enough space for downloaded applications. Applications, such as Facebook, will close on the owner quite often due to the lack of memory and/or RAM.
  • The battery will overheat easily, causing the phone itself to run incredibly slow.
  • Every few months, it's recommended that the owner reset the device to factory restore in order to get rid of the issues they may be having.
  • On occasion, the phone will restart itself whilst the user is in the middle of using the device.
  • The device will have a delay in making phone calls and put them on hold.
  • The front facing camera does not like to play video.
  • The calendar only has the option for a simple notification. So, it may be redundant to program an important event if there is a possibility that the user won't be able to hear it.
