Buying the foldable Samsung Galaxy F: It's a thing many think about
A foldable phone by Samsung is pretty much guaranteed. The company is not really being secretive about it and president of Samsung Mobile DJ Koh has discussed the project openly a few times. Of course, we don't know how it's going to look and how it's going to operate exactly, but we have some solid leads.

All of the current information points to a clamshell-like design, where the phone will have a large display on the "inside", and a smaller, 3.5-inch-ish screen on its outer shell to show you notifications and whatnot. And it's not going to be cheap, either — not one bit. Leaksters say we should expect to pay about $2,000 to own one of these marvels of technology.

Some people believe it's overkill and there's no reason for such a device... at least not with the current state of technology. Others love it when there's a push into the unknown and claim they'd throw money at Samsung just to get this "glimpse into the future". About 60% thing think it's a waste of money, 40% want to get one! Sounds fair.

This poll is another proof that there are many blind sammy boy in this site. We haven't seen one credible render of the phone or any concrete element of the phone yet they are will to buy this invisible phone. Before calling iPhone fans sheep they should reexam their own attitude.

He has a major hard-on for Samsung/hating on Samsung. Let him be. Notice how he made no comment about the 58% who are already saying no, despite not seeing an actual device yet.

You are delutional if you think I'm edgy right now. Just stating the fact. Maybe you should get trigger less by facts next time.

You seem to have an issue with people and what they like?? What's your problem?? You like what you like so why can't others love Samsung or whatever?? It seems it's you with the issues here

that's the biggest issues with people here. They have zero respect for what other like. A d then think thr lame-tatsic crap they buy, no one should say anything about it, in a negative tone.

Techie, you once told someone to kill themselves over saying something negative about Samsung. Let’s not even try to pretend that you have even an ounce of respect for anyone who doesn’t like what you like.

You didnt state a face. You did state your opinion. Your opinion is that people who are already familiar with the quality of Samsung products, can't be excited or interested in this device. And you are simply wrong in your opinion, which was stupid. Most people who daily use a product, will be interested in whatever next iteration is expected, even if its something new. When Samsung first rumored the Nite, I was excited by what I heard even though I had never seen the device. Stop being a hater....HATER!!!

Believe it or not, but it has NOTHING AT ALL to do with Samsung, but more the concept of a foldable phone. I'd personally welcome a horizontally foldable phone. It's going to be the next big thing for smartphones. Samsung is merely leading the way, plenty of others like Huawei, Xiaomi and Apple seem eager to follow the trend.

Have you got nothing better to say than Sammy Fan boys or Apple Sheep?? Seriously, grow up. It's just a phone, get over it. If someone loves Samsung or Apple then what's the problem with that?? We all like what we like and there's nothing wrong with that. You need to get out more, it's not important. It seems you judge people by what phone they choose which is rather shallow minded

So you're saying, people who normally buy Samsung devices can't be interested simply by what they have seen and heard about the device already? The whole point of rumors and leaks is to peak interest, and you're saying we. A t be interested? So you e never been interested in a product you have never seen, but only heard about? What a loser. And yes iFans are sheep.

Are u aware a other company has already released a foldable phone? You know folding phones aren't new. Right? What is new is applying what flip phones were, to today's smartphone. The one I saw from the other company was thick and cheap looking and had a terrible apparatus for bending. Knowing the quality of Samsung and their money. They can do a much better job. So yes I am excited to see what they come out with a d yes I am interested in the concept. I may even buy it if I like it enough. Why should you care? Oh wait. You just wanted to start a stupid fight, you can't even win to begin with.

It's not about Samsung, but new foldable screen phone. There are not so many currently on the market.

Your post is proof there are many butthurt Apple fans who are absolutely inconsolable that Samsung continues to out innovate Apple year after year, while having the best rated phones by the majority of tech reviewers. Bad news, it's not going to get any better for you.

Bring on folding phones but not this design as it doesn't look pocket friendly even though it does look nice.

Since the first commercial several years ago. I have been nothing but excited about the thought of a folding phone. I am even more happy that it just happens to be Samsung to make it!! Now I am logical and understand there are potentially going to be a crap ton of issues on the first one. So what!! Does anyone remember the HTC Thunderbolt. The most amazing first 4G LTE phone (turned out to be absolute crap). At first though it was AMAZING!! and even though HTC sucked as a company erryone wanted that phone. SO yes I do want the phone provided by Samsung that folds that no one has seen. All you iphone Jesters want every iphone concept device before it is even patented. Get over your selves.

I cannot wait to see what Samsung delivers. I’m quite content with my Note8 and iPhone XS Max, but who knows...if it impresses me enough, it could end up being the most expensive smartphone purchase I’ve ever made.
