After the first leaked renders of the
ZTE U988S, purportedly the world's first
Tegra 4 phone, we have been now sent press pics in flesh and blood... errr, red coloring. The "world's first" title seems to be highly dependent on whether ZTE or
Xiaomi with its Mi3 put their Tegra 4-laden devices on the shelves.
The handset is supposed to have a
mighty 1.8 GHz Tegra 4 processor inside, which scores about on par with the
feisty Snapdragon 800 chipset, and also enlist a 5" Full HD 1080p display, 2 GB of RAM, 13 MP rear camera and a 2 MP front cam, microSD card slot, and be pretty thin at 9mm. Android 4.2.1 has allegedly made it to the handset, and it might land under any number of aliases registered for ZTE lately, though
Mustang is likely out of the question.
