ZTE Nubia Z9 can be pre-ordered internationally for $649
If you like the "borderless" ZTE Nubia Z9, you'll probably be happy to find out that you don't have to go to China to buy it. While the handset might never be officially released globally, it's available to pre-order from retailer Oppomart, which is known for selling various smartphones that are normally found only in China.

Oppomart can ship the ZTE Nubia Z9 almost anywhere in the world, and is currently accepting pre-orders starting at $649 per unit. More exactly, $649 will get you the regular, black Nubia Z9, which has 3 GB of RAM. To buy the "elite" gold version (with 4 GB of RAM), you'll have to pay $100 more: $749. Unfortunately, the retailer doesn't say exactly when it will be able to ship the Z9.

Having almost no borders on the left and right side of the screen, the ZTE Nubia Z9 uses a special antenna tuning solution. Another interesting fact about the smartphone is that its edges are touch sensitive, allowing users to interact with the UI in a few new ways (for example, you can double-squeeze the edges to take a screenshot). That aside, the Nubia Z9 offers features like a 5.2-inch 1080p display, an octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor, 16 MP rear camera, 8 MP front-facing camera, and a 2900 mAh battery. The handset runs Android Lollipop customized with ZTE's Nubia 3.0 UI.

Do you think $649 is a fair price for the ZTE Nubia Z9? If yes, do you plan to buy the smartphone?
