Yu5050 gets run through the AnTuTu benchmark test, reveals 21MP rear camera and QHD screen
On Sunday, we told you about a device called the Yu5050, which is expected to be the cheapest smartphone to feature a Snapdragon 810 chipset and 4GB of RAM. The phone will supposedly launch at a price of $315. This morning, we can now pass along the word that the Yu5050 has run through the AnTuTu benchmark test. The phone scored 64938 in performance mode, 57242 in balanced mode.

More importantly, the test gave us some specs that were missing from the earlier leak, such as the 21MP rear-facing camera that will be on board, and the 8MP snapper expected on front. Based on the AnTuTu results, which shows 3GB/4GB of RAM, there could be two variations of this phone. Additionally, while the leak on Sunday revealed that there would be a 1080 x 1920 resolution on the 5.2-inch screen, the AnTuTu test shows a 1440 x 2560 QHD resolution instead.

What we might see is one model with 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and a QHD resolution screen. The other model could offer 3GB of RAM, 16GB of storage and an FHD resolution display. Cyanogen 12.1, based on Android 5.1, will power both variations of the handset.

Thanks for the tip!
