Xiaomi Mi 5: all the official images

Xiaomi's Mi 5 is here and while the announcement presentation is not yet over, all the fundamental info about this new flagship from the Far East is already here. We can safely say that the Mi 5 is the most affordable Snapdragon 820 device right now, and it won't be far-fetched to say that it's also among the more impressive ones.

But specs aren't everything. Sure, they matter, but let's take a moment and revel at the design of the device, which is actually pretty good! In case you missed it, the device comes in three versions—Standard, High, and Ceramic Exclusive—which share the same design yet differ in the build materials they are made of. The Standard and the High ones employ "3D" Gorilla Glass at the back and front, while the Ceramic Exclusive one comes with, er, a ceramic back. All of these have a metal chassis, mind you, and none tips the scales more than 129gr.

Here are all the official images:

Wonder if James Bond will use the MI6 when it's out next year.

This phone looks awesome, the front fingerprint scanner cum home button should have been much better if it would have been in rectangular shape as it would have differentiated it from Sammy.

Actually Samsung is the one who copied Xiaomi's curved glass back. But Xiaomi copied that home button lol.

Nice. But I could easily mistake it for a Galaxy.

Exactly. This doesn't have the ugly antenna lines like the iPhone nor the glass back like the S7. Simply put: this is one beautiful phone, inside and out.
