Windows Phone Preview for Developers getting Windows Phone 8.1 update

Windows Phone Preview for Developers getting Windows Phone 8.1 update
If you're a member of the Windows Phone Preview for Developers program, build 8.10.14176 is now being pushed out to you by Microsoft. The update includes performance improvements and bug fixes. The build should clear up the 80188308 error that some Windows Phone users were seeing while trying to install Windows Phone 8.1 on their phones. The error screen was popping up "due to lack of storage space in the system partition during update." Microsoft expects the new build to fix this problem. If it doesn't help, you will need to use the Nokia Software Recovery Tool to rest your phone.

Other problems fixed include the inability of the HTC 8X and HTC 8S to receive the Windows Phone 8.1 update. Those two models did not have the proper drivers installed, which caused Microsoft to stop trying to update the two handsets.

Lastly, more Lumia owners who are members of the Developer Preview program, will start receiving the Lumia Cyan update. Microsoft had started rolling it out for some models a few weeks ago. But the guys and gals in Redmond plan on speeding things up. Every day, a couple of more devices will be receiving the update until all Lumia models are accounted for. The Lumia Cyan update includes a new Start screen, the Swype-styled Word Flex feature, a file manager, IE11 password improvements, calendar enhancements, and an Action Center for notifications.

Those who are members of Windows Phone Preview for Developers get to test out new Windows Phone builds before they are made available to regular Windows Phone members.

Still??? How else can you get WP8.1.1.2? ........ This update is for update 1... The only thing we are waiting for now is the Denim firmware for WP8.1.1.

Extras+info still says Im on Lumia Black tho I downloaded the update. Is that suppose to happen?

That can happen if you HAVEN'T gotten the OFFICIAL Cyan update... Remember, the DP updates do not contain firmware, and Black, Cyan, and Denim are firmware updates.. ....... So, I have officially, which is the only way, gotten the Cyan update on my 1520.. I'm on WP8.1.1.2, but my device still reads Cyan.. It won't change until I get the Denim firmware to back it up... ....... Now, if you have supposedly gotten the Cyan update from your carrier then yes, something is very wrong... You would need to use the Nokia desktop recovery tool to revert back to WP8.0.3 (Black) non preview,, then try to update back to non DP Cyan.. After that you should be able to advance to WP8.1.1.2 and you should be back on track... Granted everything goes right with MS's update process us 8.1.1.2 preview users should be able to update directly to Denim without having to revert back to non DP WP8.1.... Does that make sense?

You're going to have to wait for cyan, and you're in luck because MS is just now starting back cyan updates for a lot of DP users.. Keep checking for the update every day until you get it... Denim might not come until November.
