After a long sabbatical, Microsoft is prepping to finally reenter the mobile industry with a bang, or, more precisely, with two bangs - the oft-rumored Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL. The company is said to skip a generational mark, jumping from Lumia 930 - its last flagship, made before writing off the whole Nokia acquisition - directly to 950, denoting a big shift in strategy.

There won't be only the 5.2" Lumia 950  and the 5.7" 950 XL announced, though, and the phones might even take the backburner to the one and only Surface tablet, which is widely expected to feature Intel's new and very frugal Skylake chipset and an upgraded, thinner and lighter design.

To cap it all off, we are expecting the second version of Microsoft's Band wearable, the Band 2 tracker, to make a cameo on stage as well. If you are as excited about Microsoft's born-again mobile strategy with the Windows 10 handsets and tablets, you can tune in to watch the show live at 10 am Eastern.

I am excited yet worried...not even a screenshot or case leak or anything. Then again it wasn't until just 2weeks or so ago that anything leaked on the phones, true leaks that is.

6 hours remaining. Those guys living in the west should sleep now so they can wake up when it starts. Because after it ends, you won't be able to sleep either.

If they can make it thinner and more like a tablet that would be a good start.

Please stop using the fuking word "Super" to describe everything. It's annoying as hell.

A "bit" douchey that presenter. And why do they talk so fast? Annoying. Surface book was interesting tho. Phones were put in the smaller role, clearly. MS not even trying with the phones any more.
