Watch Xiaomi's first ever CES keynote live stream here

Xiaomi, one of the larger Chinese smartphone manufacturers, is hardly a household name in the USA but it's definitely striving to increase its popularity. And what's a better way to make your baby steps on the largest and most competitive market in the world than being present at the largest trade show?

Xiaomi will be hosting its first ever CES keynote today, January 5, at 11:00 AM PST. That'd be 2:00 PM for the east coasters out there, or 19:00 GMT for the Western European crowd.

What's there to expect from Xiaomi? Its CES teaser clearly states that a product launch will be taking place, and naturally, we are hoping for a smartphone! What's more, the promise for "A Glimpse Into The Future" is not exactly soothing our curiosity. Another kind of gadget is not out of the equation either, but as phones are Xiaomi's bread and butter so we'd trust out gut feeling.

I really don't understand why did they bothered tobcom to CES anyways!? They have shown just product available in China, which if ordered from resellers, comes without any warranty of what so ever
