Apple's iOS 8 was just announced in front of thousands of attendees at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. Hundreds of thousands of people watched the event streamed live on their computers or mobile devices. And we even live-blogged the entire thing for our faithful readers who didn't have the chance to follow the keynote.

after the first video intro i was like what the hell are they talking about, the bionic arm iarm is the cheaper version of the real arm thats taking away from the people at the bionic institute working on legs and arms and other interaction, the people in the video are just stupid just stupid its like magic really wow say anything to get in apples pocket,

It is going to be a long few months of bug hunting for Apple developers, and then many months of frustrations for iOS customers, come September. Much as it is good to push out a lot of new functionality, Apple should learn to do this in batches, not one giant lump that is hard to debug and get working well. And certainly not just a few months before a major new phone release.
