Verizon's Motorola Moto X priced at 1 cent at Amazon, with two-year pact
On Tuesday, Verizon's variant of the Motorola Moto Xreceived its update to Android 4.4, KitKat. On Wednesday, Amazon announced that it was offering the device on sale for just 1 cent with a signed two-year pact. Whether you are taking advantage of an upgrade available on your current Verizon account, or you're just starting a new relationship with the nation's largest carrier, the Moto X will be yours for just a penny.

Need we say anything more about the timing of this offer? With the holiday shopping season officially kicking off with next week's Black Friday 'shopping holiday,' you can expect to see high priced handsets offered at prices that would have seemed impossible just weeks before. The deal starts on Wednesday and is in effect for both the white and black standardized (not customized) model of the phone.

Without a service plan, Amazon is offering the phone for $669.99
