Verizon to release LG Optimus F5 as LG Lucid 2
Last month, we told you that the LG Optimus F5 had been introduced at MWC in Barcelona. A mid-ranger, the device features a 4.3 inch qHD display which works out to a 256ppi pixel density. Under the hood is a dual-core 1.2GHz processor with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of native storage. MicroSD slot? You betcha! The phone comes with a 32GB capacity microSD slot. The back and front-facing shooters weigh in at 5MP and .3MP respectively, and the 2150mAh battery could provide power all day with moderate use. Android 4.1.2 is installed out of the back, which means it will come with the smoothness of Project Butter and Google Now. The latter provides you with the information you need, when you need it such as sports scores, stock prices, weather and traffic.

The LG Optimus F5 is expected to soon be coming to the nation's largest carrier, Verizon. Big Red is said to be re-branding the phone as the LG Lucid 2, making it the sequel to the device which first launched last March. The model number is VS870 and is expected to be available from Verizon as soon as next month.
