UPDATED: Samsung Rogue to arrive on Sep 8 for $99 on contract?

These rumors about the side-sliding Samsung Rogue just won’t stop! Here’s what a tipster of ours that claims to have inside info told us today. The Rogue has now appeared with a “coming soon” status in the equipment guide system, meaning… well, meaning that it should come soon (hopefully)! That’s not all the interesting stuff however. Judging by a launch kit, out source says the handset is to come on September 8 with a price tag of $199$99 with a two-year contract and after $100 mail-in rebate. Full retail price will be $419.99. In addition, it seems the Rogue will sport a 3.1-inch touch-sensitive widescreen and a full HTML browser, if the description found there should be trusted, of course.

So, that is all for now – we hope the Rogue is now close to launch time so that we could finally put its capabilities to a test.
