Team Coco has a great ad for the Apple AirPods

According to Apple, it's Wireless, Effortless and Magical. We're referring of course, to the AirPods, Apple's wireless in-ear speakers that work with any Apple device. The AirPods can detect when they are in your ears, and tapping them turns it on. Double tap either the left or ride side, and Siri will be activated. The Apple designed W1 chip allows the AirPods to work like magic.

So what is the best way to sell the AirPods? Conan O'Brien's Team Coco has the perfect solution; repeat business. Check out the video at the top of this story to learn how to make the AirPods a top selling device.

It's a brilliant marketing campaign led by Conan and his gang of Madison Avenue Mensa marvels. If Team Coco's campaign works, the wireless AirPods will quickly become one of Apple's best selling devices of all time.

The fact that Apple has 4 sets of Airpods that are different sizes, and 4 different shapes instead of 1 model only is awesome. Good job Apple

You do not need 4 different models of Airpods for that, just 4 pairs of different sized silicon shape wraps.

other manufacturer usually include 3-4pair of that in their earphone package... but at apple, they need to avoid that to reduce the cost, and to prevent you from lending airpods to friends/family with different auditory canal size, and they'll need to buy their own airpods :)

I believe the later part, but 'reduce cost' on the silicon shape thingies......I cannot imagine they cost a lot, though of course they do cost the machinery to make them, so maybe that is the cost they want to avoid? if they can get away with just slightly modifying existing machinery that makes their wired earpods?

I expect quite a few of them to be crushed by other feet in a crowded area for sure. What if i lost one.... Do i need to buy a pair again or can i just buy 1 single "Airpod" from Apple? Meh... Not even getting this nonsense.

I expect a large 2ndary market of half-pairs Airpods. For Sale: 1 left ear Airpod. Right Airpod is currently in the San Clemente sewage treatment plant after getting flushed down the toilet. And there'll be someone that'll think "Great! I need a left Airpod. I wish I had a funny story about what happened to mine, but the truth is I have absolutely no effing idea what happened to it!"

Will the airpods be able to talk to each other if they aren't from the same set? Because who's to say Sally and Joe's airpods don't get mixde up while driving down the road in Daddy's Cadilac with their half-his-age-smoking-hot mother???

Good point. I just assumed some BT pairing was involved, but it's possible they have individual keys or something.

Why should I buy one if I will be finding them on the streets often anyway!

It'll probably happen, but you'll keep finding the same side, and never the other side to make a single pair.

This is what so many have been saying since day one. Apples attempt to turn their wireless audio option into an expensive subscription based hobby.
