T-Mobile launches the refreshed version of myTouch 3G
And just like T-Mobile finally officially launches the refreshed version of the myTouch 3G – somewhat. Now on the carrier's web site is the revamped myTouch 3G that's adorning a 3.5mm headset jack which is also going for $149.99 on contract. Although the original version is going for $50 less at $99.99, the new version gets an upgraded 288MB of RAM, double the storage capacity with an 8GB microSD card, and support for the Swype on-screen keyboard. They've got all three versions of the handset displayed on their web site prominently for a comparison – the original myTouch 3G, refreshed version, and the Fender Limited Edition. Unfortunately clicking the “Buy Now” button on the site for the refreshed version will only take you to a features page with the big bold words of the “Coming Soon” caption greeting you. Let's just hope that T-Mobile gets this thing up and running in time for Valentine's Day so that customers can reap all the special promotions they're offering during the weekend.
