We can tell that T-Mobile's marketing department is full of smartphone fanatics who are just as enthusiastic about unboxing a new handset as the most devoted gadget junkie is. How do we know this? Take a gander at the new product video released today by the carrier to announce the new T-Mobile Revvl 2 and T-Mobile Revvl 2 Plus phones. As T-Mobile content director Desmond Smith casually unboxes the Revvl 2, the background music comes to a halt so we can hear that special sound made by the protective plastic covering getting peeled off the screen. This takes place about 53 seconds into the video. Only a fellow smartphone enthusiast knows how pleasurable that sound is.
