Sprint may discontinue iPhone 4 on iPhone 5 launch day
What you probably know is that on September 21, the iPhone 5 will become available for purchase at retail stores nationwide. What you don't know, however, is that the iPhone 4 may get discontinued on Sprint on that very same day, according to evidence that surfaced on the web.

That's bad news for any Sprint subscriber who has been thinking of getting it at an unbeatable price. During the unveiling of the iPhone 5, it was announced that the price of the 8GB iPhone 4 will be dropped down to zero on-contract. And who doesn't like free stuff? It was also mentioned in the fine print, however,  (read: the official iPhone 5 press release) that the free iPhone 4 would be available only through "select carriers". Well, looks like Sprint will not be on that list.

Of course, we might not be interpreting the information contained in the leaked document correctly, so there is still a slight chance of the iPhone 4 being on sale with Sprint even after the iPhone 5 launch. Whether that will be the case, however, remains to be seen.
